January 6th, 2021. Something broke in our democracy today. I swear, I will defend American from Trumpism forever more. It will persist, like a cancer, in our political system for years from this day. I have known too many Trumpists to believe otherwise. Their resolve and their belief is great. Our resolve must be greater.

You now have the opportunity to make sweeping changes in America. What issue do you choose to spend your legislative bullet on?
Our democracy incentivizes morally corrupt practices like gerrymandering, which in turn incentivizes extremism in the parties. That’s why it’s so important that we reform our democracy. Ranked Choice Voting is a good first step along that path. It should not be the last.
